Jennifer Allen-Thomas

Jennifer Allen-Thomas is native of Commerce City, where she has spent her life and career serving the community. Jennifer is an RN, Family Nurse Practitioner and she works for the State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. She received her Masters at Regis University and currently serves as Mayor Pro Term and Ward 2 Representative for Commerce City Council.

As a family nurse practitioner, she has the talent and knowledge of being an advocate for her patients. She also has the experience, knowledge, and dedication to work with community partners, state legislators, Adams and Weld elected officials and the businesses and residents of Commerce City.

Like all residents, she has both witnessed growth and positive changes in the city, and bore the brunt of disheartening changes in the quality of life due to degrading air quality and decreased opportunities for children and youth.

“I value and respect the people of Commerce City and would like to continue to be the bridge that connects residents and businesses to our local government. My passion is building health and wealth equity for all Commerce Citians.”
